Justice Department Files Lawsuit Against Physician, Pharmacy, and Clinic Owners for Controlled Substances Act Violations Published: 20 February 2021 20 February 2021
Tampa, Florida - The United States filed a civil complaint seeking to permanently enjoin the owners of a Tampa-area clinic and pharmacy from unlawfully dispensing opioids and other controlled substances, the Department of Justice announced Friday.
In a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the government alleges that Dr. Tobias Bacaner, Theodore Ferguson II, and Timothy Ferguson used Paragon Community Healthcare Inc., to unlawfully issue controlled substance prescriptions, and Cobalt Pharmacy Inc., to unlawfully fill controlled substance prescriptions, all in violation of the Controlled Substances Act. KILLEEN, TX â Killeen ISD is extending their closure through Wednesday as a result of not having access to water needed for drinking, restrooms, cooking, and district-wide fire suppression systems.
All campuses will be closed for students Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. In-person and remote learners will not be required to engage during this time.
The district said they are assessing their ability to reopen campuses to students at the earliest on Thursday, February 25, 2021 if water supply allows. We are focusing all efforts on supporting our community, repairing extensive damage to facilities and preparing for reopening once adequate water supplies are re-established, the statement said.
